About Us
Meet Our Staff... Maple Street Guitars is a family guitar business, incorporated in 1981 and located in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially focused on guitar lessons, classical guitars and sheet music, our business has grown through the years to include a staff of eighteen and an extensive inventory of all kinds of guitars and fretted instruments. Not only do we sell entry level instruments for beginning students, but we are also well known as a source for finely crafted guitars both new and used by Collings, Goodall, Santa Cruz, Martin, Lowden, Taylor, Fender, Paul Reed Smith, Benedetto, G&L, Godin, Alhambra, Kenny Hill, Cervantes, Hirade, Takamine, Alvarez- Yairi and many more. We enjoy working with great individual luthiers such as Dake Traphagen, Thomas Rein, and John Bogdanovich and especially local talents such as Alan Williams (Baruke Guitars) and most recently Chuck Rogers. Customer service has always been our priority, and we have a fine repair shop to maintain our large inventory and to repair outside instruments brought to us by our customers. Because everyone at Maple Street plays the guitar and has a genuine love of the instrument, we provide a unique perspective in guitar sales. Our goal is to help the aspiring guitar player in every possible way: with a great instrument, good instruction, inspiring music to play and every imaginable accessory to make guitar playing easier and more fun.
