Guitar Lessons in Metro Atlanta

Though we are known for our outstanding selection of guitars and related instruments, Maple Street Guitars actually began as a lesson studio, and we have specialized in guitar lessons in the metro Atlanta area since 1981.

Many of our teachers have themselves studied guitar, taught lessons and performed together in Atlanta for an even longer time. They remain with us as friends and colleagues, building on a long tradition of effective guitar instruction.

Our teachers cover a wide range of styles, and everyone teaches beginners as well as more advanced players. In addition to being outstanding guitar players with years of performing experience, our teachers have a sound academic background in music and enjoy working with people of all ages, regardless of prior experience and musical background. Our studios are large and well-lit, and almost all of our lessons are private, so that the teacher can focus on the student's individual needs.

All Lessons are conducted at our store on Maple Drive, which is easily accessible from Atlanta's major expressways: I-85, I-75 and Georgia-400. Lessons are given Monday through Saturday and in the evening Monday through Thursday. Depending on the lesson schedule, fees will be:

  • $30 per half-hour lesson
  • $60 per hour lesson
  • $120 for one month of four, consecutive half-hour lessons
