1995 Jose Ramirez 1A 664 Especial with Indian Rosewood and CedarAbout ten years ago we were contacted by a former Ramirez distributer whom we had known for many years and from whom we had formerly purchased other Spanish made instruments for resale. He wondered whether we would be interested in purchasing a Ramirez 1A Especial that was still in his inventory but which by then was essentially new old stock. Well, we were, and we did. Recently, we were contacted again by this same individual who had the same extraordinary offer as before, and our response to this opportunity was the same as before, for it is a rare occasion to have an instrument of this caliber, in this condition that we can make available at a price more commonly associated with its pre-owned peers. Bear in mind that, though this guitar has never been owned by an end user, we are not representing it as new, but rather for what it is - a rare and unusual buying opportunity. This 1995 Ramirez 1A Especial is in superb near mint condition, and the sound is just outstanding. It has the iconic sumptuous blended tone, amazing power, and definition for which the best Ramirez guitars are known. And despite its 664mm scale, this instrument is remarkably comfortable to play.
