Taylor Guitars 512CE 12-FRET 2015 Grand Concert 12-Fret Cutaway with Mahogany and Cedar and Taylor ES-2 Pickup System

From the Taylor website:

"Singer-songwriters are often drawn to our 500 Series because mahogany yields its inspiring tone easily, with a breathy midrange and a wonderful balance of warmth, clarity and complexity.

The mahogany/cedar 512e 12-Fret is a seductively sweet-voiced Grand Concert. As a result of joining the neck to the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th and moving the bridge farther back on the soundboard, the guitar’s tone sounds wonderfully aged right out of the case. The "modern vintage" voice blends warmth and depth on the low end with sparkling clarity and articulation, and yields surprising overall volume for a smaller body style. A Venetian cutaway offers extra fretting access in the upper register, while Taylor’s Expression System® 2 acoustic electronics yield rich amplified acoustic tone.

The heart of the Expression System 2 is Taylor’s proprietary behind-the-saddle pickup (patent pending), which features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. The location of the sensors enables a more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before. Together with Taylor’s custom-designed “professional audio”-grade preamp, this system produces exceptional amplified tone and responsiveness."

This guitar includes a deluxe archtop hardshell case.
