Left-handed guitars
Blueridge: BR-40LH
(Item ID: BR-40LH)
Left-Handed Dreadnought with Solid Spruce Top and Laminated Mahogany Back and Sides
From the Saga website:
"The BR-40 Blueridge guitar is certainly the workhorse of the Blueridge Contemporary line and is now available as a left-handed model. Every detail makes for easy playability and a big, powerful tone. Features include a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back, sides, and peghead overlay, gorgeous mother-of-pearl inlays, 5-ply body bindings, and nickel-plated Kluson-style tuners. Authentic pre-war bracing ensures tone and volume just like the finest vintage guitars."
Recently, we decided to add more left-handed guitars to our inventory. This fine guitar is one example. The forward-shifted X-brace and thinner top braces which are characteristic of the pre-war Martin guitars really does make a difference to the sound of a guitar. Both elements serve to relax the top allowing it to vibrate more freely - the voice is more full, quick and responsive as a result. With the adoption of this design, the Blueridge guitars share a very distinct tonal palette which distinguishes them from other brands.
The action of this guitar has been adjusted by our staff to insure optimum playability. This guitar includes our one-year "Action Warranty"
