This custom spec OM Grand by Santa Cruz  features several of our favorite appointments including a European Spruce Top, Adirondack Bracing (adhered with hot hide glue), Cowboy Rope Rosette and Top Purfling, a 42 Style Fingerboard Inlay and a gorgeous Sunburst Top.  As with all Santa Cruz OM Grands, the body shape, in Martin vernacular is a 0000, imparting an increase in power, balance and depth giving the player a sense of maximum output with less effort.

Tonally one might say that clarity, projection and balance are the name of the game in this case.  Equally at home strummed or fingerpicked, each note leaps off the fretboard with shimmering highs and resonant lows, while displaying an exceptionally even voice, from bass to treble, lower register, to higher octaves.  It would be a natural fit in nearly any musical context, adding depth while also possessing very present mid and high frequencies to claim a unique spot either in a mix, or even simply in a room with other players.
