2010 Custom Shop Deluxe Telecaster in Candy Apple Red with Rosewood fingerboard

General Description:

As one of the most iconic and versatile guitars out there, a Telecaster requires little introduction! However, this particular beauty is a Custom Shop model, and therefore something fairly unique—its naming is a bit misleading, though, as it is a Custom Shop variant on the Deluxe Series Telecaster, not a take on a ‘70s era Tele Deluxe (which would be equipped with two wide range Cunife humbuckers)! Apart from its striking Candy Apple Red finish, this guitar is a mash-up of eras. For instance, the beautiful flamed maple neck has a rather beefy ‘52 deep U carve, but a ‘60s era rosewood fingerboard; and, furthermore, the neck features a more modern 9.5” radius and Sanko 6105 narrow-tall frets. On this note, the neck carve would make this guitar most desirable for those with larger hands or a strong preference for thicker vintage-inspired necks. Perhaps most significant among the modern features are the Twisted Tele pickups (for more output and transparency, particularly in the neck) and 4-way switching, where the fourth position yields a fatter tone by combining the neck and bridge pickup in series as opposed to the standard parallel. All in all, this Custom Shop Tele is a stunning and tastefully appointed guitar that has all the classic curb appeal and feel at first glance, while sporting some of Fender’s best modern innovations under the hood!

Cosmetic Condition:

Though used, this guitar has no signs of playwear or damage to note, having been meticulously cared for by its previous owner. NEAR MINT condition.
