Designed with and named for Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, the Friedman JJ Jr. is a firebreathing amp that belies its small stature. Friedman’s JJ-100 was an instant classic that put Cantrell’s iconic and heavy tones at the fingertips for the rest of us mere mortals. The JJ Jr. has now taken that a step beyond, cramming the same tone and most of the same feature-set into a more player friendly package. Its 20-watt power is more than enough for most studios and stages while its “Silent” XLR output (complete with two different mic position settings) offers the ability to plug the amp into an interface or mixer without the need to run a cabinet. From AC30 inspired cleans to Cantrell’s classic grind that’s so thick it’ll “Dam that River” and so crushing that it’ll rattle “Them Bones,” there’s a lot here that’s sure to make any high-gain fan grin.

This amp was well maintained by its previous owner and shows no signs of wear. We’d rate this as EXCELLENT+ to NEAR MINT condition.
