The Jupiter is a unique offering from Supro for a number of reasons.  Most notably, the amp sports a switchable rectifier that allows the player to toggle between 35, 45 and 60 watts.  This changes the function of the amp such that at 35 watts it is class A, and on the 45 and 60 watt settings it becomes class AB.  This switchability not only affects the headroom, but also provides different tremolo effects  for the class A and class AB settings.  The Class A tremolo is a classic Supro style tremolo, while the AB has a more intense, almost throbbing effect. 

Additionally, the HP12 speaker (specifically designer for the Jupiter) sports a larger magnet as well as a hemp cone delivering clarity, sparkle and chime.

With the variable headroom and tube driven effects, this amp is a natural choice for players of any style, and would function excellently as a pedal platform.

Condition:

This amp has been very well maintained by its previous owner, and as such only shows modest signs of use.  There are small, very hard to spot blemishes to the tolex on the top and sides.  As such, we would consider this amp to be in EXCELLENT condition.
