Special features of the Traditional Series guitars, which are inspired by pre-war Martin guitar designs, include: all solid wood construction with hand-carved scalloped braces, forward shifted X-brace, dovetail neck joint, and hand polished nitrocellulose finish. The E10 00 is Eastman’s fine take on the classic pre-war Martin 00-18 12-fret guitar. The star of this model is its Thermo-Cured Adirondack Spruce top, supplying maximum headroom and dynamics. This top, combined with the mahogany back and sides, yields a clear and punchy response, with slightly more prominent midrange. The slightly wider nut width (1 13/16”) makes the E10 00 a fantastic finger-style guitar from blues artists to folk stylists or just about any genre you’re into.
