The Collings City Limits, or CL as it has come to be known, represents the Austin builder’s take on the all-time classic double-humbucker solidbody guitar. Boasting exceptional build quality and high quality components, it’s familiar to those well-versed in the original but offers a degree of additional refinement and, in many ways, improves upon its inspiration. Its sleek and unique contours make it a joy to play and comfortable in any position. Meanwhile, the Lollar Standard Wind Imperial Humbuckers offer that same refinement in their polished take on the iconic “P.A.F.” humbucker, highlighting the CL’s full and powerful tone but without sacrificing clarity or brilliance.

This guitar was well kept by its previous owner but was certainly played and shows some signs of wear. There’s a small chip on the face edge of the peghead, an all-too-common scenario with guitars that have headstocks that come to a sharp edge. There are some small but moderately deep scratches behind the tailpiece. The bridge pickup ring has split in one spot but is still functioning as intended. The hardware is oxidized throughout and there are some subtle scratches/dings throughout. We would rate this guitar as being in VERY GOOD+ to EXCELLENT condition.
