In the world of flight cases, few names carry the respect of Calton Cases (which, as of 2024, is part of the Hoffee Case family).  Originally designed by Keith Calton in the UK, these famously durable cases have been refined over the years to offer the some of the best accommodations available for you axe of choice.  In fact, any skeptic would be encouraged to witness the product demo from Calton, whereby an unwitting volunteer guitar is: tuned, put in a case, thrown off a building, lit on fire, extinguished, and summarily run over several times by various different vehicles, only to be removed from the case perfectly in tune.  (Though, one should note we would never encourage you to attempt any of the above!)  The outer shell is composed of an impact resistant, weatherproof, fiberglass composite accented with five to six (depending on case size) heavy duty stainless steel latches and an airtight seal provided by a special rubber gasket to shield the inside from moisture and dust. Its internal high density custom fit padding secures your instrument snuggly on a bed of soft, plush velvet, with a sturdy neck support providing extra stability and insulation from any physical shock.  A generous accessory compartment provides ample space for strings, picks, straps, and any additional emergency what-have-yous one might need come gig time.  In addition to simply being heartily constructed, a number of custom options are also available, including: custom finishes, nameplate engraving, additional backpack-style strap mounts and handles, and even GPS tracking hardware.  Indeed, a Calton case is a tough and tested tour companion that will keep your instrument safe for many years to come.
